Advice for Life

Community Involvement

Fresh Start for Children and Families – President

Fresh Start has a mission of renewing hope and rebuilding lives for children and families. Through our unique educational approach, Fresh Start has had a significant impact on dealing with one of the major social issues of our time: homelessness. We have achieved this by providing transitional housing for children and families and helping them with self-sufficiency through education and life skills and the promotion of self-confidence. We also have a passion to promote awareness of the homeless issues in our communities by emphasizing the fact that over 65% of the homeless population are women and children.
